The Chinese Freshers' Ball in Oxford is a cherished tradition organized annually to welcome new Chinese students to the esteemed halls of the University of Oxford. As the Spring Festival lanterns begin to glow, the Oxford University Chinese Students and Scholars Association (OXCSSA) is thrilled to invite you to our annual Chinese New Year Gala, a celebration of heritage, culture, and the onset of the Lunar New Year. This much-anticipated event promises to be an enchanting evening, bringing together the vibrant community of students, scholars, and friends in Oxford to commemorate one of the most significant festivals in the Chinese calendar.

Each year, OXCSSA spares no effort to curate a gala that encapsulates the traditional spirit of the New Year with a touch of modern exuberance. 1. Introduction to the University of Oxford: We will provide detailed information about the history, culture, academic environment, and other relevant aspects of the University of Oxford, helping new students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the institution they are about to enter.

2. Sharing by Senior Students and Alumni: We will invite senior students and alumni who have studied or graduated from the University of Oxford to share their experiences in learning and life, providing practical advice and guidance.

3. Interactive Session: We will create opportunities for new students to interact with each other, establishing connections and laying a solid social foundation for their upcoming study abroad experience.

4. Q&A Session: We will answer common questions about applying for visas, pre-departure preparations, accommodation arrangements, etc., helping students to transition more smoothly into their study abroad life.

5. Distribution of Materials: We will provide printed materials and electronic resources, including study guides, life handbooks, etc., offering practical references for the students' journey abroad.
